Breakfast Recipes

Here are some of my client’s favorite breakfast recipes. Enjoy!
Frozen Blueberry Yoghurt
Ingredients:
½ cup plain 1% yoghurt (add vanilla extract or cinnamon if desired)
1 cup frozen blueberries
¾ cup 1% cottage cheese  
10 almonds chopped
 
Mix together or eat separate.
Choco-Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened soy milk or 1% skim milk
1 scoop protein powder
½ medium banana, frozen
1 tsp ground flaxseed or flaxseed oil
1 tsp chocolate syrup
 
Combine all of the ingredients in the blender, blend on high for 1 minute.
Frozen Blueberry Dream
Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain 1% yoghurt (add cinnamon or vanilla extract)
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese
5 almonds chopped
Mix together or eat seperate.
Choco-Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened soy milk or 1% skim milk
1 scoop protein powder
½ medium banana, frozen
1 tsp ground flaxseed or flaxseed oil
1 tsp chocolate syrup
Combine all of the ingredients in the blender, blend on high for 1 minute.
Vegetable Egg Scramble
Ingredients:
1 whole egg + 3 whites (2 tbsp = 1 liquid)
½ cup chopped zucchini
¼ cup chopped onion
1 oz 4% cheese
1apple
Olive oil spray
Spices:
Garlic salt
Pepper to taste
In a medium, non-stick sauté pan, use olive oil spray . Sauté onion and zucchini until barely tender, about 3-5 minutes over medium heat. You can add some pepper and garlic salt at this time. Meanwhile, whisk egg and whites together and add to vegetable mixture. Continue to cook until the eggs are scrambled and set. Place the mixture on a plate and top with cheese. Eat with the apple.
Breakfast sandwich
Ingredients:
1 slice Stonemill Bread or Ezekiel Bread
1 whole egg
½ tsp butter
2 oz 4% cheese
Non-stick spray
½  cup blueberries
Toast bread with cheese on top. Melt butter on frying pan and fry egg however you like it cooked. Place egg on bread with melted cheese. Enjoy the blueberries on the side.
Quick Oatmeal Breakfast
Ingredients:
¼ cup slow cook oats, cooked
1/2 apple chopped
1 tbsp natural peanut butter
Cinnamon to taste
1 scoop protein powder (any desired flavour)
Re-heat oatmeal with small amount of water in microwave for 1 minute. Mix in peanut butter and protein powder, then the apple and add cinnamon to taste.
