Hi and welcome to my new website. This website has been a labour of love for me and has taken months to finish. The intention of this website is to provide my clients and those of you who are interested in natural nutrition and weight loss with a one stop shop for recipes, meal plans, nutrition news and motivation!
I would introduce myself but you can read all about me (if you want) in the ABOUT section. A short intro: My name is Lori Kennedy and I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (and personal trainer and yoga instructor) that specializes in weight loss. I primarily work out of The Womens Fitness Clubs of Canada (Promenade Mall location) http://www.womensfitnessclubs.com/ where I facilitate the 10 Weeks to WOW! Group Weight Loss Program http://www.womensfitnessclubs.com/nutrition.htm that I created. I also see private clients at the gym too. When I am not working, cooking, preparing meals or exercising my time is spent looking after my very active 1 year old daughter (she started walking at 10 months!). Needless to say I have very very long days!
I will let you in on a little secret – I WEIGHED 197LBS THE DAY I GAVE BIRTH (I am 5’4 and I weighed about 130lbs prior to getting pregnant – you do the math). This was my first pregnancy and I ate myself all the way to almost 200lbs. I learned my lesson and will be much more careful next time. Us nutritionists are human too! I am now happy to say that with alot of hard work and dedication I am back to my pre-pregnancy size. Did I mention I specialize in WEIGHT LOSS?!
